PSP Firmware Schedule

Sony has now confirmed the firmware release schedule for the new features we announced last month. See below for a list of all the features and when they are to appear.

Spring

  • Macromedia Flash support
  • RSS Channel (audio download)
  • Chinese font set
  • Camera/GPS library

Summer

  • RSS Channel (video)
  • Expansion of UMD video profiles

Autumn

  • Memory Stick Boot
  • Voice over IP
  • Network support

The Camera will be released on September 6th while the GPS will be released on October 6th.

    hi i just got my psp so kinda new to this are all of thoes thing lised adove downloads and updates to the psp or a new one

    The above will be a downloadable update so you can update your psp no matter how old it is.
