Game
- Support for PLAYSTATION Network titles has been expanded.
Additional features added for [Internet Radio]
- The number of players that can be used by the [Internet Radio] has increased.

The PSP has just received a new firmware update, bringing the current version to 3.93. The update is a minor one and expands support for PlayStation Network titles and adds 20 new Internet Radio players. According to John Koller, Senior Marketing Manager for the PSP, "More than 50 percent of PSP users listen to music on their system, so we think a lot of you will enjoy this free, new expansion of their music library."
You can update your PSP from the Settings menu, since the regional websites have yet to be updated (excluding Japan). We will post the official changelog shortly. The changes according to the Japanese PlayStation Website are:
Network
- [Skype] has been added (Japan only, PSP-2000 models only)
- Number of players for [Internet Radio] have been increased
Games
- Support for PlayStation Network titles have expanded

The next firmware release for the PSP could be right around the corner according to a new rumor circling the Internet. The rumor suggests the new firmware, version 4.00, which be released on March 18th 2008 and will feature several new features and improvements to current features. Among the rumored changes in Flash 9 support and the ability to playback Real, Quicktime and WMV audio and video content. Check out the rumored list of features below.
- PLAYSTATION 3 Network titles can be played under PSP [Remote Play] under Game. The PSP is then used as a monitor for any game playable in Playstation 3 game console.
- Real, Quicktime, and WMV audio and video codecs are now supported.
- PSP web browser has been updated to allow compatibility with current websites.
- [Adobe Flash Player 9] has been added as a feature, using the Memory Stick Pro Duo as flash memory.
As usual, there is no official confirmation from Sony so this is classified as a rumor. Look out for more information in coming weeks.
