A new firmware update is now available for the PSP. Version v6.31 is a minor update to the system software, but is required to access the PlayStation Store. The firmware update improves system stability for current and upcoming games.
On the European PSP Store this week you can find lots of new games to download, including four new PSP Essential titles, two new downloadable games, two new PSOne games and three new Minis titles. Other than all the new games, you can also find a new playable demo.
This week on the PSP Comic Store you can find two new free comics from DC, Bottle of Awesome #1 and Ex Machina. The second issue of Ex Machina is also on the store for just 79p. Also this week, IDW continues the epic tale of Dragon Age with the release of the second issue, and the return of Jurassic Park #1, 13 years since little Tim and Lex Murphy escaped from the island of Isla Sorna.
There isn’t a lot of new content on the US PSP Store this week. You can find a new downloadable game for purchase and a new add-on pack for Buzz! Quiz World. You can also find a new game trailer and three premium XMB themes.
On the European PSP Store this week, you can find two new PSP Essential titles and a new downloadable game. There are two new Minis titles, including Young Thor. Finally, you can find new game add-on content and a selection of new game videos.
This week on the PSP Comics Store you can find lots of new comics including True Blood, an all-new comic book series based on HBO’s hit show about the lives and loves of vampires, mind readers and all manner of creatures. IDW has released a new volume of Vampire Hunter D and award-winning epic “Bone” and the ongoing “RASL” make their PSP debuts this week.
On the US PSP Store this week you can find two new downloadable games and three new PSP Minis to enjoy. There is also some new DLC for LittleBigPlanet and the new episode of PULSE. Finally, you can find a selection of premium XMB themes for purchase.
On the PSP Comics Store this week features more DC titles this week, including a free issue of Azure and the second issue of last week’s best selling comic God of War #2. The store also has a the start of a four issue mini-series Kingdom Come.From Marvel you can find more Marvel Zombies and some classic The Invaders (1975).
The Minis range of games for the PSP and PS3 has hit the 1 million download mark, across PAL and US territories. The Minis range was first launched in October 2009 to coincide with the launch of the PSPgo, and has taken nearly 10 months to reach the figure.
