• Operation of the UMD drive has been improved to address cases in which the UMD drive occassionally suspends and fails to reload the data. Updating to system software to version 3.73 will resolve the issue.

General

• When downloading content (as a purchase or for free) from PlayStation Store using a PSP system with an 8 GB or 16 GB Memory Stick Duo media inserted, you may see a message indicating that the media does not have enough free space, even when sufficient space exists. The version 5.01 update resolves this issue.

Security

• A correction has been made to the settings for some regions.
