The video-on-demand service, Go!View, is now live for PSP owners in the UK and Ireland. Go!View is a online download service operated by SCEE and Sky, allowing you to download TV, movies and sport content to your PSPs. Subscribing to the service gives you access to TV shows like Weeds, Hustle, and Little Britain, plus access to the latest movies and sport content. You also get one month free subscription when you subscribe to three entertainment packs.

After an announcement over at the PlayStation Blog by Eric Lempel, director of PlayStation Network Operations, PSP Firmware 4.05 is now available for download. This minor update adds new music visualizations: the XMB wave and wallpaper movement. For Japanese PSPs, some minor changes to the One-Seg player are included too. Until the official English changelog is included, we have included the Japanese translated one below.

Issue 36 of the XTREME PSP Magazine is now available to download. Yep, it's been over three years since the magazine has started and we hope there are many more ahead of us. This issue is packed with content including reviews of Metal Gear Solid 4 on the PlayStation 3 and Lego Indiana Jones on the PSP. We also have a number of new game previews, wallpapers and more.

The latest custom firmware from Dark_AleX and Team M33 is now available to download. The custom firmware utilizes the latest Official firmware 4.01 (as the name suggests) but also adds the common features found in M33's custom firmware. In addition to releasing firmware 4.01 M33, version two of the firmware has also been released fixing a few minor bugs.

Following the release of PSP Firmware 4.00, Sony has release a minor update to the firmware brining the firmware version to 4.01. This minor update improves the new features introduces in Firmware 4.00. This includes improved search results for certain languages when using Google Search from the XMB, and improved playback of video content for certain file types. The new update is available to download now using the PSP's Network Update feature.
