Zombie Tycoon Now Available on PSN
Just in time for Halloween, a new PSP Minis title has hit the PlayStation Store for just £3.99/4.99. Zombie Tycoon lets you take ‘control’ of a hilarious zombie horde in order to achieve complete world domination. Doing so will require a lot brain throwing, building trashing, mascot bashing as well as equipping some of the silliest loot ever conceived.
Savage Moon Goes Portable
The PSN title Savage Moon is heading to the PSP with new weapons, maps and gameplay. For the last few months FluffyLogic personnel have been toiling away in an underground bunker to produce the mobile incarnation of the game: Savage Moon: The Hera Campaign. For those new to the game, Savage Moon is a tower defence strategy game which launched on PS3 last winter. The game pits the player (humans), who is trying to mine valuable minerals from sentient asteroids or Imoons, against massive chitinous, armoured bugs called ‘Insectocytes’.
TGS 09: New PSP Room Service Announced
It looks like a new PSP service, PlayStation Room, will be similar to Home for the PlayStation 3. At the Tokyo Game Show yesterday, Sony announced that the PSP service will allow users to create 3D avatars, room spaces, blogs, albums, and chat support. This new service will be added via an upcoming PSP firmware update sometime this winter. You will be able to launch the service directly from the PlayStation Network menu on the XMB.

We also have the first screens of what the service will look like. Take a look below.
Japan To Get Downloadable Manga For PSP
PlayStation Japan has announced that they will be adding downloadable Manga to the PlayStation Store. While there’s no mention of what manga will be available as well as pricing, this is great news indeed. Although of course, this is only for Japan – but lets hope Sony decides to expand into other regions. It shouldn’t be too much of a problem for Sony to bring this feature to other territories, though localization could prove to be a hurdle for Sony, especially in Europe.
Sony To Offer Digital Copies For Old UMD Games
If you are planning to upgrade to the PSP Go! this October, you’re probably wondering what will become of all those UMD games you’ve purchased over the years. Although the UMD format will continue, you won’t be able to use them on the PSP Go! unless you have digital copies of the game. Its looks like Sony has already come up with a solution. According to John Koller, “We’re in the midst of putting together a good will program. [...] So we’re looking at a short term good-will program that would continue for years afterward.”
